Early Risers set Wednesday meeting
Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. Featured speaker will be Laura Spitzer of Indulge & Co. and Indulge Salon & Spa in Fairmont. The public is invited.
Aktion Club Theatre meets Thursday

Class of 1978 plans 45th reunion
Fairmont High School class of 1978 will meet 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, upstairs in the Skybar at the Marina Lodge, 501 Lake Ave. in Fairmont. The Lodge will have live music on the patio from 7-11 p.m. with food/menu options available until 9 p.m. The 45th reunion of FHS class of 1978 will continue on Saturday, Aug. 12, at Interlaken Golf Club, 277 E. Amber Lake Dr. in Fairmont, with check-in from 6-7 p.m. for those with prior reservations. All classmates are encouraged to attend.
