3M employees, past and present, will meet for lunch noon Tuesday at the Green Mill Restaurant, Fairmont.

Class of 1961 to lunch

Fairmont High School class of 1961, spouses and friends, will meet for lunch 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 5, at the China Buffet in the Five Lakes Centre Mall in Fairmont. All classmates are encouraged to attend.

Activities next week at Fairmont Library

There will be two activities planned next week at the library in Fairmont. First, join library staff for chair fitness for adults, beginning 10 a.m. Friday, July 7, at the Fairmont Library, 110 N. Park St. in Fairmont. This low impact exercise class will allow you to remain seated while following along with the class on their large video screen. There is no cost to attend and registration is not required. Next, join library staff for an event designed for adults with disabilities beginning 1 p.m. Friday, July 7, at the Fairmont Library, 110 N. Park St. in Fairmont. Youth for Christ golf tourney set for July 10

The annual Martin County Youth for Christ “Lighthouse Golf Classic” will be held July 10 at Interlaken Golf Club in Fairmont. The cost is $100 per golfer for 18 holes of golf, cart, lunch and dinner. Check-in will begin at 11 a.m., with lunch available until 12:30 p.m. A golf clinic will be held at 12:30 p.m., with the shotgun start to the golf tournament at 1 p.m. After conclusion of the golf, a banquet dinner will be served and awards will be given out.
