Service Club to hold Tuesday meeting

Legion Auxiliary sets Tuesday meeting

Fairmont American Legion Auxiliary Unit 36 will meet 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, at 300 Downtown Plaza, Fairmont. All members are encouraged to attend, as well as anyone who’s interested.

Garden Club sets Wednesday meeting

City of Lakes Garden Club of Fairmont will hold its next meeting 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 7, at 1320 Lucia Street in Fairmont. There will be a business meeting followed by a presentation on Methods of Gardening/Visitors to the Garden – “Pressed Flowers.” The purpose of the organization is to encourage all forms of horticulture in the home and community. Meetings are open to visitors and new members but please RSVP your attendance to Leslie so adequate accommodations can be made. Class of 1961 to lunch

Fairmont High School class of 1961, spouses and friends, will meet for lunch 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 7, at the Pizza Ranch in Fairmont. All classmates are encouraged to attend.

Human Rights meeting Thursday

The Human Rights Committee of Martin County will meet 11:30 a.m. Thursday,

June 8, at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, 102 N. Park St. in Fairmont. Following the guidelines from the nationally respected Minnesota Department ofHuman Rights, they strive to encourage respect and maintain dignity for all the residencies of Martin County. All are welcome to join them.

CER to offer upcoming community activity

Fairmont Community Education & Recreation (CER) will offer an upcoming community activity. Acupressure to Relieve Stress, Anxiety, Insomnia and More class will be held 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 8, online via Zoom. Acupressure is an ancient healing art and self-help tool.
