CREST Lunch & Learn event Monday
With spring in full bloom, you're starting to see things that assure us that warmer weather is on the way. It might be a flock of birds flying north or flowers beginning to emerge. The next CREST Lunch & Learn program will take place 11 a.m. Monday, April 10, at the CREST office, located at 820 Winnebago Ave. in Fairmont. This month's program will be "Spring Sightings and Adventures." They will feature a speaker on planting some small but productive garden pots, plus attendees are asked to bring pictures of spring and a recipe that is spring or summer oriented. A lunch featuring ham, potato and green bean casserole, cucumber/tomato salad, and a dessert will be served following the meeting. Please RSVP if you plan to attend by calling (507) 235-3833. This activity is open to anyone in Martin County and a free-will donation is always welcome.
