Early Risers set Wednesday meeting

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. Featured speaker will be Lee Baarts, mayoral candidate for the City of Fairmont. The public is invited.

3-D printed backpack class Saturday at Fairmont Library

Come and make a backpack charm with our new 3-D printers from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at the Martin County Library in Fairmont. This drop-in event is for ages, 10 and up. There is no cost to attend and no registration is needed. All supplies are provided. For questions, call the library at (507) 238-4207.

Immanuel Women to sponsor fall luncheon

Women of Immanuel Lutheran – Women’s Missionary League will sponsor a fall festival luncheon and bake sale from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, in the basement at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1200 N. North Ave., Fairmont. The meal costs $10 per person and includes chicken and stuffing squares, cranberry relish, glazed carrots, dinner rolls, assorted pies and coffee. Take-outs are available. A bake sale will be held as well. Everyone is welcome.

Harvest dinner Sunday in Northrop

The annual Harvest Dinner will be held 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, in the fellowship hall at St. James Lutheran Church in Northrop. The menu will consist of turkey commercials, assorted salads, pies and desserts. Take-outs will be available.
