Piano recital Sunday at Red Rock

MaryAnn Sanders of Granada, will perform her senior piano recital which will include pieces composed by Bach and Chopin, beginning 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21, at the Red Rock Center for the Arts, 222 E. Blue Earth Ave. in Fairmont. Refreshments to follow the recital. All are invited to attend.

Historical Society offers program

A PowerPoint presentation entitled “The History of the Martin County Fair” will be shown 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, at the Pioneer Museum in Fairmont. There is no charge. The public is invited to attend.

Anjee Mai clay creations adult art events

Join library staff to make a clay cactus creation, for adults, sponsored by the Martin County Library, beginning 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, at the Truman Community Building in Truman, and 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, at Triumph Hall in Trimont. All supplies are provided. Come out and bring a friend.
