City of Fairmont to hold conversations event

Join City staff for ‘Conversations with the City’ from 5-6 p.m. Thursday in room 012 at the SMEC building located at 115 Park St. South, Fairmont. During their listening tour, Fairmont City staff will be answering questions and listening to citizen concerns in a more casual environment. Everyone is welcome to attend.

MLHS to host potato bar meal Sunday

Martin Luther High School class of 2024 will be hosting a baked potato bar dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at their school in Northrop. Load your baked potato with a variety of toppings, enjoy dessert and beverage and support the students. The cost is a free will donation. All are invited.

October free meal Sunday at SJV

St. John Vianney Hope Café will be serving their free October meal in-person 5 p.m. Sunday. All are invited to join them at St. John Vianney church, 901 S. Prairie Ave., Fairmont. If you are unable to join them in person due to lack of transportation, please let them know so they can see about delivering meals to those who can’t join.
