Service Club to hold meeting today

Fairmont Service Club will meet noon today at the Holiday Inn, Fairmont. The program this week will feature Billeye Rabbe, director of Martin County Solid Waste. Early Risers set Wednesday meeting

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. The program this week will feature Natanael and Leah Moreno, ESL laisons for Fairmont Area Schools. The public is invited to attend.

Church to celebrate 150 years

Immanuel Lutheran Church located at 315 N. Seeley Ave. in Dunnell is having the 150th anniversary of the founding of the church. A concert featuring Glenn Henriksen will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, July 31. On Sunday, Aug. 1, a breakfast will begin at 9 a.m., followed by the church service at 10:45 a.m. A meal will be served at noon (please RSVP for this), then a program will take place at 2 p.m. talking about and showing the history and highlights of the church over the years, with coffee and fellowship to follow.
