Sportsman Club sets shooting event
East Chain Sportsman’s Club will hold a trap shoot event beginning noon Sunday at the club located a half-mile north of East Chain. They will be shooting practice rounds, then 16-yard and 25-yard Oakley’s and Boondocks. The grill will be on all day. For more information, contact Moby at (507) 236-4189. Everyone is welcome.
Worship Center hosts breakfast
Regional Worship Center in Sherburn will host a community breakfast from 8-10 a.m. Monday at their facility located at 2 Crossroads Dr. in Sherburn. There will be a variety of food to choose from. A free will donation will be accepted. Everyone is invited for a good breakfast and fellowship.
Tyler Tennyson of Truman graduated and was awarded a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business (financial decision-making track) following the 2021 spring semester at Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa.
Grace Mensing of Blue Earth was named to the dean’s list for the 2021 spring semester at the University of Iowa in Iowa City.
