Early Risers set Wednesday meeting

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. The program this week will feature Eric Selman, owner of The Clucked Farmer. The public is invited to attend.

Class of 1962 to meet

Fairmont High School class of 1962, spouses and friends, will meet for lunch 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Pizza Ranch, Fairmont.

Mural appreciation to be held Wednesday

A drive-by appreciation will be held 5:30-6 p.m. Wednesday to celebrate the completion of the large-scale, ‘Celebrating Our Arts’ community mural and the volunteers who made it happen. The mural is located at 406 Downtown Plaza in Fairmont. Drive by and honk or walk up for a closer look. The project is courtesy of the Red Rock Center for the Arts with funding from The Minnesota State Arts Board and the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

Borderline Cruisers plan car show

Borderline Cruisers Car Club will host its 29th annual Classic Car Show from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday on Downtown Plaza in Fairmont. Registration will be 9 a.m. to noon. Top 25 cars and trucks with participant judging. Show registration costs $15. An awards presentation will be held at 3 p.m. All are welcome. Samantha Chaffee of Delavan received the Larry Luttmers Award (Psychology) and the Psychology Department Distinction Award for academic honors recognition at Saint Mary’s University in Winona.
