Affordable health screenings today in Fairmont

Residents living in and around Fairmont can learn about their risk for cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, diabetes, and other serious, chronic conditions with affordable screenings by Life Line Screening. Red Rock Center for the Arts, 222 E. Blue Earth Ave., Fairmont, will host this community event today. Screenings are affordable, convenient and accessible for wheelchairs and those with trouble walking. Free parking is also available. Packages start at $149, but consultants will work with you to create a package that’s right for you based on your age and risk factors. Pre-registration is required. Fox Lake Association to meet Friday

Fox Lake Association will meet 7 p.m. Friday at Everett Park on the shore of Fox Lake, rural Sherburn. They will hold discussions on current water quality issues of Fox Lake. All members are encouraged to attend.
