Volunteers sought for Meals on Wheels

Delivering meals is a simple and rewarding way to help those in need. Make a difference in your neighbors life by bringing a hot, nutritious meal and a friendly greeting all within an hour. Meals are picked up 10:45 a.m. at Lakeview Healthcare Center in Fairmont. There are four routes in Fairmont with 8 or less stops per route. Meals are delivered Monday through Friday. No holidays. You will receive detailed driving and delivery directions with no preparation needed. Delivering meals can be a fun social activity you can do by yourself or with a friend. The preference is for a group or business to sign up for delivering a week or more at one time, once a year. To sign up your group or business or sign up as an individual to help when needed, please call Karen Toupal at (507) 236-8781.
