Service Club to meet Tuesday

Fairmont Service Club will meet noon Tuesday at the Holiday Inn, Fairmont. The program this week will feature James Nelsen from the South Central Volunteer Dive Team. CREST looking for volunteer drivers

CREST is looking for individuals who enjoy driving and have a desire to help people keep their medical appointments, go to the grocery store, attend social engagements and run errands. CREST provides transportation to residents of Martin County who, for a variety of reasons, don’t drive or can’t drive any longer. CREST volunteers take those in need to local engagements as a way to assist people and provide companionship. CREST also transports people to out-of-town medical appointments where the volunteer is given a gas card to help with their gas expenses. If you are interested in helping provide CREST transportation services, please call the CREST office at (507) 235-3833 and ask for a volunteer application.
