55 Alive driving course offered

Mark Fujan of State Farm Insurance will offer two free 55 Alive/Defensive Driving Courses on Thursday at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Fairmont. For the first class, tax and legal tips will begin at 8:30 a.m., with the defensive driving course starting at 9 a.m. The second class will start at 2:30 p.m. Pre-registration is requested. There is limited seating due to COVID protocols, so those interested are asked to call as soon as possible to register. Drivers 55 and older can save money on their auto insurance by attending the course. To register, call (507) 235-5573.

Devin Stephens of Blue Earth was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree following the 2020 fall semester at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, N.D.
