Pool in Sherburn announces swim lessons

MCW indoor swimming pool, located at the elementary school in Sherburn, will offer swimming lessons this fall. Registration forms are available at all school offices, on the school website or email elizabethviesselman@mcwmavericks.org.

Dollars for Scholars provides fundraising update

Fairmont Dollars for Scholars board members would normally be planning the chicken dinner fundraiser they hold each January. However, with careful consideration, the board has decided to cancel the chicken dinner for 2021 in deference to the health and wellness of their supporters. In its place, the chapter is doing a mailing requesting small donations to help them continue to provide monetary support in the form of scholarships to Fairmont High School seniors and graduates. If you would like to donate, you can do so online at http://bit.ly/FDFSDonate (which is case sensitive) or send a check to Fairmont Dollars for Scholars, P.O. Box 563, Fairmont MN 56031. These donations are tax deductible and every donation helps, big or small.
