Red Rock Center seeking youth artwork
4-H and youth art show drop-off times are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and 1:30-2:30 p.m. Sunday at Red Rock Center for the Arts, 222 E. Blue Earth Ave., in Fairmont. Free entry for all youth, ages 5-19. Each individual can submit up to two pieces of art, each of a different medium. Cash prizes to be awarded. In-person and virtual viewing will be Aug. 18-28. Gallery viewing will be open to the public during business hours.
Ruby’s Pantry planned Monday in Sherburn
Ruby’s Pantry food distribution will be held Monday in Sherburn in the high school parking lot. Distribution will begin around 5:30 p.m. and continue until 7:30 p.m. They will have volunteers posted at street corners to offer directions. Participants are asked to line up on North Prairie. There will be a worker at the beginning of the line to collect $20. Participants must open their trunks at the beginning, then drive through to each pallet. The workers will place food in the trunk. Participants are asked not to bring containers or get out of their vehicles.
