Sportsman Club to host shooting event

East Chain Sportsman’s Club will hold a trap shoot event beginning noon Sunday at the club located a half-mile north of East Chain. Social distancing guidelines will be followed as needed. They will be shooting 25-yard bird practice rounds, then 16-yard and 25-yard Oakley’s and Boondocks. The grill will be on all day. For more information, contact Moby at (507) 236-4189. Worship Center plans Monday breakfast

Regional Worship Center in Sherburn will host a community breakfast from 8-10 a.m. Monday at its facility located at 2 Crossroads Dr., Sherburn. They will not serve a buffet. The meal will be served as ordered. Donations accepted. Everyone is invited.

Blood drive slated for next week

An American Red Cross blood drive will be held 12:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Kiester Community Center, Highway 22, Kiester. Donors of all blood types are needed. The Red Cross uses extra sanitary precautions and says it is safe to give. Masks are encouraged.
