Martin Luther to offer movie Sunday

A free drive-in movie night will take place 9:20 p.m. Sunday at Martin Luther High School in Northrop. The movie will be “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.” The 1963 comedy is rated “G” and runs 2 hours and 39 minutes. There will be free popcorn.

CER announces upcoming activity

Community Education and Recreation will offer Little Cardinal tennis camp July 27-31 at the tennis courts at Fairmont High School. The camp has programs designed for different age groups. Tennis fundamentals are taught but fun is a priority. Participants need to bring their own racket and balls. Social distancing and Minnesota Department of Health guidelines for youth sports will be followed. Fee is $17. Maximum of 24 per session. Youth ages 7-10 will attend 8:30-9:15 a.m. while youth ages 11-14 will attend 9:30-10:15 a.m. Registration is due by July 20 to ensure receipt of a shirt.
