Update on student meal program

Fairmont Area Schools student meal program will continue each week until the end of May. Full-week meal packages, including five breakfasts and five lunches, will be delivered on the following dates:

Mondays, May 4, 11, 18 and Tuesday, May 26

This week’s package will include meals for four days.

Drop-off locations will remain the same, except there will no longer be a pickup location at Fairmont High School. There will continue to be a pickup location at Fairmont Elementary School from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

9 a.m. Ceylon; 9:30-9:55 a.m. St. Paul Lutheran, Lincoln Park, Gomsrud Park; 10-10:25 a.m. Veterans Park, Winnebago Ball Diamond, Bowlmor Lanes; 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fairmont Elementary School

Garden Club cancels May meeting

Because of concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic, City of Lakes Garden Club of Fairmont has cancelled its meeting scheduled for Wednesday. Decisions about future meetings will be made on a month-by-month basis. For more information, call Leslie Walkowiak at (651) 895-6578.
