Tolstoy reading slated at Red Rock Center

A community reading of Russian author Leo Tolstoy’s story “The Death of Ivan Ilyich” will be presented 7 p.m. Tuesday at Red Rock Center for the Arts, Fairmont. Famous for his novels “War and Peace” and “Anna Karenina,” this later work, published in 1886, reflects Tolstoy’s search for spiritual meaning and redemption following his own personal spiritual and psychological crisis. The reading will be about 90 minutes long. The event is free and open to the public. To learn more, call (507) 848-4414.
