Youth scavenger hunt slated Sunday

Merge Martin County will host a photo scavenger hunt for junior and senior high students beginning 2 p.m. Sunday at Fairmont Evangelical Covenant Church, 901 Woodland Ave., in Fairmont. Youth in grades 6-12 will be paired with a driver age 21 or older to decipher location clues where students will take a photo of their group. After the hunt, teams will reconvene at the church for a slideshow, prizes, an inspirational message and food. Kinship mentors, youth leaders or other adults wanting to bring several children may call Steph Johnson at (507) 236-4118 or Jen Kahler at (507) 320-9377 to make sure there are enough drivers and snacks. Merge is a youth organization whose goal is to provide fun, safe and inspiring activities that allow students from across Martin County to get to know one another better.
