Exchange Club to meet today

Fairmont Exchange Club will meet noon today at the Holiday Inn, Fairmont. The program will feature Sue Homan from Kids Against Hunger. The public is always welcome to join club members for these programs. For more information, call club president Ross Sheppard at (507) 236-7717.

Early Risers sets Wednesday meeting

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. The program will feature Dr. Sarah Mittelstadt, director of Southern Plains Education Cooperative, who will talk about Arise Academy. The public is invited.

United Methodist slates supper

Fairmont United Methodist Church will host a supper from 5-6 p.m. Wednesday at the church, 119 E. Second St., Fairmont. The menu will consist of scalloped potatoes and ham, green beans, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, donated desserts and beverages. A donation of $2 is suggested. Everyone is welcome.

St. Martin’s to host soup luncheon

St. Martin’s Episcopal Church in Fairmont will host a soup luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the church, 102 N. Park St., in Fairmont. They will serve six varieties of soup. Take-outs are available by calling (507) 238-2686. No deliveries. Proceeds will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Martin and Faribault Counties. Everyone is invited.

Class of 1953 to lunch

Fairmont High School class of 1953 will meet for lunch 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont.
