Early Risers set Wednesday meeting

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. The program will feature Fairmont Airport manager Lee Steinkamp, Verlus Burkhart, Ruth Cyphers, Jerry Brooks and Kate Hawkins, who will discuss the Air Race Classic, an annual cross-country air race comprised of several teams of women. Fairmont was picked as an optional stop in 2019. The public is invited to attend.

United Methodist slates Wednesday supper

Fairmont United Methodist Church will host a supper from 5-6 p.m. Wednesday at the church, 119 E. Second St., Fairmont. The menu will consist of fish fillets, mashed potatoes, creamy coleslaw, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, donated desserts and beverages. A donation of $2 is suggested. Everyone is welcome.
