Exchange Club to meet today

Fairmont Exchange Club will meet noon today at the Holiday Inn, Fairmont. The program will feature Mike Hunter, chief of the Fairmont Police Department. The public is always welcome to join club members for these programs. For more information, call president Ross Sheppard at (507) 236-7717.

Early Risers set Wednesday meeting

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. The program will feature Glen Davis, pastor of the Christian Church of Fairmont. He will provide a message of thanksgiving. The public is invited to attend.

United Methodist slates Wednesday supper

Fairmont United Methodist Church will host a supper from 5-6 p.m. Wednesday at the church, 119 E. Second St., Fairmont. The menu will consist of Christmas chili, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, donated desserts and beverages. A donation of $2 is suggested. Everyone is welcome.

Class of 1951 to lunch

Fairmont High School class of 1951, spouses and friends will meet for lunch 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont.

Trimont Methodist church slates event

Trimont United Methodist Church will hold its 54th annual soup dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, 111 Apple St. E., Trimont. The menu will consist of homemade vegetable beef soup, barbecues or hot turkey sandwiches, assorted pies and beverages. Greeting cards, Rada cutlery and dishcloths will be available to purchase. Also, the church youth group will have a bake sale. Music will be provided by the Trimont Centennial Band. All are welcome.
