Mobile office hours set in Trimont, Truman

Congressman Jim Hagedorn’s office will hold mobile office hours from 1-2:30 p.m. Thursday at Trimont City Hall and 10:30 a.m. to noon Friday at Truman City Council chambers. No appointments are needed. These are opportunities for constituents to seek any help they need with a federal issue or agency.

Swea City church to hold harvest supper

First United Methodist Church in Swea City will hold a Harvest Supper from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the church in Swea City. The menu will consist of roast pork loin with all the trimmings, homemade pie or dessert. Donations accepted. Carryouts available. They also will have baked goods for sale. Everyone is welcome to attend.
