CREST Parkinson’s support group to meet

Are your legal and financial affairs in order? Do you have someone appointed to make your decisions in the event that you are no longer able to do so? These are important questions that we all need to address, but even more so when we live with a progressive disease.

CREST Parkinson’s Disease support group will meet 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Grace Lutheran Church, 300 S. Grant St. in Fairmont. Sylvia Hasara, ombudsman for the southern Minnesota region, will speak on the legal format we need to have in place, and how to deal with financial obligations as things change in our lives. The support group offers the opportunity for others to sit in on this informational session if they wish. After the speaker’s presentation, a short meeting will follow. For questions you might have about this meeting, please call the CREST office at (507) 235-3833.
