Regional Worship Center plans breakfast

Regional Worship Center in Sherburn will host a pancake, eggs and coffee breakfast from 7-9 a.m. Monday at 2 Crossroads Drive in Sherburn. Cost is a donation. Everyone is invited.

Woodcarving group to meet

CER Woodcarving group will meet 7 p.m. Tuesday in the art room at Fairmont Elementary School, 714 Victoria St., Fairmont. Park on the south side of the building and use the CER office door. There is no charge. New and experienced carvers are welcome.

55+ driver program scheduled next week

Minnesota Highway Safety Center will offer a 55+ Driver Improvement Course next week. There will be an eight-hour First Time Course taught by a certified instructor from the Minnesota Highway Safety and Research Center from 5:30-9:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday in the Budd Room at Fairmont Elementary School. The fee is $26. The courses are open to the public; pre-registration is required. According to Minnesota law, persons age 55 and older who complete the course qualify for a 10 percent discount on their auto insurance premiums for three years.
