Eagles to host craft/vendor show Saturday

A 2019 fall craft and vendor show will be held 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Eagles Club, 1228 Lake Ave., Fairmont. Crafters and vendors will be on hand and feature new items to begin the holiday shopping season. Food will be available on site. Everyone is welcome.

Ruby’s Pantry plans food distribution

Ruby’s Pop-Up Pantry, a community food outreach program, will hold a food distribution Monday at the Regional Worship Center in Sherburn. Registration begins at 5 p.m., with food distribution from 6-7:30 p.m. There are no income or residency guidelines. Ruby’s Pantry is funded by a $20 cash donation per participant for operational costs. Participants are asked to bring two large boxes, totes or laundry baskets to put the food items in. Valley Quilters set Monday meeting

Blue Earth Valley Quilters will meet 7 p.m. Monday in the Blue Earth Area High School choir room. Enter through door “V” on the south side of the building. The main program will be the fall trash-to-cash, in which members bring in books, fabric and quilting notions they no longer use and offer them for other quilters to buy.
