Historical Society to offer presentation

A DVD presentation featuring the military experiences of Tom Childs will be shown 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Pioneer Museum, Fairmont. There is no charge. The public is invited to attend.

Legion Auxiliary sets Tuesday meeting

Fairmont American Legion Auxiliary Unit 36 will meet 7 p.m. Tuesday at Goldfinch Estates in Fairmont. All members and anyone interested in the auxiliary are invited to attend.

Rummage/bake sale planned for Friday

East Chain Lutheran women’s annual rummage sale, bake sale and garden produce sale will be held 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at 703 Victoria St. (across from Fairmont Elementary School) in Fairmont. Everyone is invited.
