Lemke reunion to be held Sunday
Lemke family will hold its annual potluck dinner noon Sunday at Amber Lake Park, Fairmont. Those attending are asked to bring their own eating utensils and a dish to pass. All family and friends are invited.

The following area students were awarded degrees following the spring semester at Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall: Jackson — Brody Anderson, bachelor’s degree in physical education/training; Jordan Biehn, bachelor’s degree in art; Austin Olson, bachelor’s degree in elementary education; Mountain Lake — Audi Nickel, bachelor’s degree in agricultural education; St. James — Colin Hoppe, bachelor’s degree in history; Samantha Resick, master’s degree in education; Wells — Abigail Beyer, master’s degree in education.
Church to host coffee party
East Chain United Methodist Church will host the monthly community coffee party from 8:30-11 a.m. Saturday. They will serve rolls, donuts, coffee, tea and juice. Donations accepted. Everyone is welcome.
Lions: Bring eyeglasses to fair
The Fairmont Lions Club is reminding those who attend the Martin County Fair next week to bring along their used glasses and hearing aids to the Lions ring toss booth. The Lions will have a drop box at the booth.

Updated area barn quilt trail maps are available at the following locations: Fairmont Area Chamber of Commerce, Truman Historical Museum, Truman China Cafe, Truman Profinium, Truman Tribune, Truman City Hall, Truman Library and Truman Public Utilities.
