Early Risers to hold Wednesday meeting

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. Featured this week will be Alissa Oeltjenbruns, director of community philanthropy at Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation. The public is invited to attend.

Trimont Legion Auxiliary to meet

Trimont Legion Auxiliary will meet 2 p.m. Thursday at the Trimont Community Building. Dues will be collected for the coming year.

Aktion Club Theatre sets Thursday meeting

Aktion Club Theatre, part of Kiwanis International, will meet 4:30-7 p.m. Thursday in the basement of Grace Lutheran Church in Fairmont. Participants are asked to bring a dish to pass for the potluck meal. The public is invited to attend any of the group’s theatrical practices. Those needing a ride or who have questions about the group may call Pat Kietzer at (507) 848-5017 or the Arc office at (507) 235-8580.

Marissa Steinhaus of Fairmont was named to the honors list for the spring semester of the 2018-2019 academic year at Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon, Wis.
