Red Rock to host lunch event Tuesday

Lunch with the Arts program featuring musical entertainment by Bill Busse, Joyce Schultz, Maureen Boro and Sandy Ettesvold, will be held noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Red Rock Center in Fairmont. Bring a sack lunch if you want. Bars and beverages will be available. There is no charge and this is open to the public.

Library plans upcoming events this week

Check out a real working robot and other interactive STEM activities courtesy of the Fairmont High School Robotics team at an event that will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Martin County Library, 110 N. Park St., Fairmont. There is no cost to attend and it is open to the public. Also this week, there will be Songs at Sylvania Park hosted by the Martin County Library on Thursday at Sylvania Park in Fairmont. Good Night Gold Dust will perform from 5-7 p.m., while the Martin County Pork Producers will have food for sale. Children’s activities will also be provided. Rain location is the Fairmont Library. Martin Luther to host golf benefit

Golfers are invited to register by June 15 for the Play It Again golf benefit sponsored by Martin Luther High School of Northrop that will be held June 29 at Rose Lake Golf Club, east of Fairmont. The event is a two-person best-ball tournament with registration beginning 12:15 p.m. and a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Prizes will be awarded after the meal. The cost is $60 per golfer and includes 18 holes of golf, shared cart and burger bar supper. Proceeds will help provide scholarships for students enrolled in the elementary band program at Martin Luther High School. Register by calling (507) 436-5249 or online at www.martinlutherhs.com.
