TRUMAN — Jordan Smith and Derek Shoen of Truman announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. The parents of the couple are Joni and Eric Sandwich of Truman, Dan and Nikki Smith of Lewisville and Don and Dawn Shoen of Truman. Jordan graduated from the University of Mary in Bismarck N.D. in 2024 and received her Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy. Derek graduated from the University of Mary in Bismarck, N.D. in 2023 with Bachelor’s degrees in Sports, Leisure Management and Business Administration. The couple is planning a Sept. 5, 2025 wedding with family and friends in Pepin, Wis.
