FAIRMONT — Dawn Elizabeth Garbers and William Anderson Whisenant announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Parents of the couple are Jeffrey and Angela Garbers of Fairmont, and Larry and Dee Whisenant of Holly Springs, Miss.

Dawn earned a Certified Nurses Aid from Minnesota West Technical College. She is employed with REM Heartland as a direct support professional.

William graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration And Marketing from Delta State University in Cleveland, Miss. He just relocated to Fairmont.

A September 16 wedding will be held at Lincoln Park in Fairmont.
