FAIRMONT — Jen Slaughter and Randy Bock announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Parents of the couple are Art and Linda Juergens of Fairmont, and Arlen and Bonnie Bock of Truman.

Jen works for the Martin County West school district, while Randy is employed by the city of Fairmont.

An Aug. 15 wedding is planned at Immanuel Lutheran Church-Galena, rural Ormsby.
