FAIRMONT — Meghan Monsen and Kevin Hanson announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Parents of the couple are Todd and Patty Monsen, and Gary and Linda Hanson, all of Fairmont.

Meghan graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, then continued her schooling at Northwestern Health Sciences University where she received her Doctorate of Chiropractic. She currently works as a chiropractor in Overland Park, Kansas, specializing in pregnancy and pediatrics.

Kevin graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with a bachelor’s degree in applied economics and business. He works as a grain origination specialist for Cargill in Kansas City.

An Aug. 24 wedding will be held in Fairmont.
