FAIRMONT — Kelsey Ray and Brent McDonald announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Parents of the couple are Ron and Kris Ray of Worthington, Steve and Lori McDonald of Fairmont.

Kelsey graduated from Worthington High School in 2010, and South Dakota State University in 2014, with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse in the NICU at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls.

Brent graduated from Fairmont High School in 2010, and Riverland Community College in 2012, with a degree in law enforcement. He is employed as a correctional officer at South Dakota State Penitentiary in Sioux Falls.

An Oct. 28 wedding will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Worthington.
