FAIRMONT — Stacie Gerhardt and Randy Nelson of Charlotte, N.C., formerly of Fairmont, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Parents of the couple are the late Richard Berg and JoAnn Berg of Fairmont, and the late Gerald and Mary Nelson of Fairmont.

Stacie graduated from Presentation College with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in nutrition. She is employed as the wellness manager with Earth Fare in Concord, N.C., and is a certified holistic life and wellness coach.

Randy is employed as an ISA certified associate arborist and ISA qualified tree risk assessor with Arborguard Tree Specialists in Charlotte, N.C.

An Oct. 21 wedding and reception is planned at Wing Haven Gardens in Charlotte, N.C.
