SHERBURN — Jacquelyn Haugen and Lyle Pauling announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Parents of the couple are Bruce and Jeannette Haugen of Sherburn, Lynda Hatland of Emmetsburg, Iowa, and the late Lyle Sr. and Sue Pauling.

Jacquelyn graduated from Presentation College in Fairmont with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is employed with Mayo Clinic Health System-Fairmont as a registered nurse.

Lyle is employed as a service technician with Hog Slat Inc. in Fairmont.

A Sept. 23 wedding is planned at Mini-Wakan State Park in Spirit Lake, Iowa.
