LEDYARD — Cierra Brandt and Tanner Thiesse announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Parents of the couple are Rodney and Tari Brandt of Ledyard, Iowa, Todd and Cathy Thiesse of Fairmont.

Cierra recently graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in education. She has accepted a kindergarten teaching position in Fairmont for the fall of 2017.

Tanner graduated from Hawkeye Community College with a degree in HVAC. He is currently working at Schwickerts in Mankato.

A July 29 wedding will be held at Bethany Evangelical and Reformed Church in Ledyard.
