TRIMONT – Hilary Carlson and Samuel Hallman announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Parents of the couple are Kermit and Robin Carlson, and Matthew and Stephanie Hallman.

Hilary graduated from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in 2014 and is the Spanish instructor at Alden-Conger Public School.

Sam is a 2016 graduate of Waldorf College in Forest City, Iowa, and is employed as a groundskeeper at Wedgewood and has accepted a position at Jones, Haugh & Smith in Albert Lea and Owatonna.

A Dec. 17 wedding is planned.
