TRIMONT — The Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial Knights netted a 25-13, 25-23, 20-25, 25-13 Valley Conference volleyball victory over the Martin County West Mavericks on Saturday.

Gabby Lange notched six kills to top Martin County West, Lucy Larson supplied five kills and 10 digs, while Olivia Anderson chipped in five kills.

Emily Anderson distributed 10 set assists and tallied three kills, while Taylor Elliott collected four kills, 10 set assists and seven digs.

Katie Hummel served five aces and made 10 digs, Emily Dunlop recorded three kills, while Paige Anderson added 15 digs for the Mavericks.

Martin County West (0-2) travels to Alden on Tuesday night to face Alden-Conger.

St. Peter 3, Blue Earth Area 0 — The Saints swept the Bucs, 25-13, 25-19, 25-21, during Big South action Saturday in St. Peter.

Liz Beeler doled out 12 set assists and went 9-for-9 serving for BEA, while Eloise Blair drilled five kills and made 10 digs.

Emma Langager scored six points, including two aces, on 9-for-11 serving for the Bucs, while Taylor Klabunde produced eight digs and went 8-for-10 serving.

Alicia Machacek supplied five kills and two ace blocks, while Miya Gustafson made nine digs for Blue Earth Area (0-1), which travels to Fairmont on Tuesday night.
