REMAX PeeWees place 7th in tournament
LA CRESCENT — The REMAX PeeWee boys hockey team placed seventh in the Lancers Youth Hockey Tournament on Sunday in La Crescent.
REMAX went 1-3 with a 6-3 win over Albert Lea in the tournament’s seventh-place game.
Eric Determan scored REMAX’s first goal off a double assist from Kegan Roloff and Klay Beemer, then Beemer scored twice unassisted and once off a Tyler Kurt assist to give Beemer a hat trick.
Gavin Kester added two goals, one unassisted and the other on a double assist from Kurt and Beemer.
Barret Scholl made 28 saves to net the win.
REMAX was shut out in its first three games.
REMAX travels to Redwood Falls for a district matchup Saturday.
