Nick Schiltz placed 24th in the boys race, while Cassie Beadle took 75th in the girls race during a nonconference cross country meet in Humbolt, Iowa, on Monday.

Schiltz ran to a 24th-place finish overall with a time of 19:39 to lead the North Union Warrior boys.

Trevor Kruse was the next North Union boy to cross into the chute when he finished in 21:44, good for 90th overall.

Gage Madden was the final Warrior varsity finisher in the boys race seconds later when he took 94th with a time of 21:48.

Beadle led the way for the Warrior girls in the varsity race with her 75th-place finish in 26:12.

Hanna Sandvig was close behind Beadle, finishing 78th overall in 26:33.

Jordyn Cummins placed 80th overall and third for the North Union girls when she clocked in a time of 26:42.

Hannah Morphew was the final Warrior finisher when she crossed the finish line in 90th place with a time of 27:40.

North Union hits the course again when it runs against Algona in Algona, Iowa, at 5 p.m. next Monday for a nonconference meet.
