Frolik nets ace

FAIRMONT — Steve Frolik used an 8-iron to connect for a hole-in-one on Oct. 15 at Interlaken Golf Course in Fairmont.

Rick Stenson, Dusty Rosa and Houston Schubert witnessed Frolich’s 140-yard feat on the fifth hole.

Forbath earns weekly honor

EDEN PRAIRIE (AP) — Minnesota Vikings kicker Kai Forbath has been named NFC special teams player of the week after kicking six field goals in Sunday’s victory over Baltimore.

Forbath had a career-best 18 points in the Vikings’ 24-16 victory. His six field goals included a 52-yarder and a 51-yarder.

Bears trade for receiver Inman

COSTA MESA, Calif. (AP) — The Los Angeles Chargers traded receiver Dontrelle Inman to the Chicago Bears for a seventh-round pick on Wednesday.

Inman caught 107 passes for 1,463 yards and seven TDs in four years with San Diego.
