WOODBURY - Beverly J. Nave, age 82, of Woodbury, formerly of Blue Earth, died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014, at Prelude Memory Care Cottages, Woodbury.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. today, Aug. 25, 2014, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blue Earth, with Rev. Dr. Mark Wilms officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.

Beverly was born Dec. 10, 1931, in Blue Earth, daughter of Emil E. and Flora T. (Bowman) Kark. She was raised in Blue Earth, where she graduated from Blue Earth High School in 1949. She was soon married to Darrel L. Nave on Aug. 16, 1950, in Canton, South Dakota. The couple resided in Blue Earth, where Darrel operated the rendering plant and owned the Blue Earth Modern Launders & Cleaners. Beverly was a homemaker and was the bookkeeper at the cleaning business for many years. While raising her children, she enjoyed golfing at Riverside Town and Country Club, hosting her weekly bridge club, crocheting, knitting, cross stitching and ceramics. Beverly was an avid Minnesota Vikings and Twins fan, attending many games. She enjoyed wintering with her husband at The Vines in Ft. Meyers, Florida, for 10 years.
Beverly is survived by her son, Doug (Karen) Nave of Elmore; her daughter, Judy (Alan) Willette of Mahtomedi; her brothers: Donald (Marian) Kark of Ft. Meyers, Florida, Robert (Susan) Kark of Denver, Colorado, and Emil "Buddy" (LaVonne) Kark of Chatfield, Minn.; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Darrell, in 2005; brother, Arthur (Shirley) Kark; and sister, Lorene (DeVere) Clark.
