Exchange Club sets meeting today
Fairmont Exchange Club will meet noon today at the Green Mill Restaurant, Fairmont. The program will feature retiring Fairmont Chamber of Commerce Manager, Bob Wallace. Early Risers to meet
Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. The program will feature speaker, Terry Thimesch, who will talk about 'Firearms for Women,' an educational program he will be having. The public is invited to attend.

Fairmont High School class of 1948 and spouses will meet 9 a.m. Thursday at the Green Mill Restaurant, Fairmont.
Dance Club slates Sunday event

Welcome Library to hold free program
Minnesota Center for Book Arts will host a free hands-on paper craft project 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Welcome Library in Welcome. You will be able to use creativity to make this project. This program is open to the public.
MCHS to have rummage sale fundraiser
There will be a rummage sale and silent auction from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Eagles Club, 1228 Lake Ave., Fairmont. A bag sale will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Pet items, tools, toys, dishes, knick-knacks, books, and more will be accepted by donation. They will not be accepting clothes, upholstered furniture, electronics or magazines. You may drop off donated items from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday at the Eagles Club. All proceeds will be used to support Martin County Humane Society.

Melissa Lubenow of Fairmont recently graduated and was awarded a bachelor's degree in psychology (magna cum laude) from Winona State University in Winona.
