Family reunion planned for this weekend
The Quade/Senne family reunion will be held Saturday in the shelter house at Cedar Park, north of Trimont. The family potluck dinner will begin at 12:30 p.m., with the annual auction to follow.
Open house set for Saturday
There will be an open house for three graduates from 1-4 p.m. Friday at Sherburn City Park. Graduates are: Jonathan Peterson, Tiffany Gantz and Jesse Schweiss. No gifts, please. All friends and relatives are invited to join them.
Special worship event slated this Sunday
Heart Song will be leading a community worship service 10 a.m. Sunday at the Flying Goose Campground, east of Fairmont. Bring a lawn chair. Everyone is welcome.
Immanuel Lutheran announces Bible school
Immanuel Lutheran Church will hold Vacation Bible School - International Spy Academy for children age 3 years old through fifth grade, from 6-8:30 p.m. July 6-10, at the church, 1200 N. North Ave., in Fairmont. They will serve supper at 5:15 p.m. It is free for spy agents and their families. Everyone is encouraged to attend.
Brittany Shea of Fairmont recently graduated and was awarded a doctoral degree in audiology during 2014 spring commencement ceremonies at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
