MAPLE GROVE - Services for Lloyd S. Myster (Bing), 73, of Maple Grove, will be held today, April 22, at Lord of Life Lutheran Church. Lloyd passed unexpectedly on Friday, April 18, 2014. Arrangements with Kozlak-Radulovich Chapel, 763-416-0016.
Lloyd was born in Drayton, N.D. and graduated from Drayton High School, where he met the love of his life, Yvonne. They were married on Aug. 23, 1963, and celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last summer. He attended the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, where earned a B.S. in accounting, a CPA and his Juris Doctorate degree. Lloyd was a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served as a captain. Lloyd worked as an attorney in Neenah, Wis., Fairmont and the Minneapolis area. He retired from Thrivent Financial in 2006 but continued a small law practice. He was a lifelong learner and belonged to several professional associations. He and his wife were active members of their church, Lord of Life Lutheran church. He enjoyed family gatherings, at home and at their treasured cabin, where he taught all the grand kids to fish. We all enjoyed our time "on the pontoon" with Papa as captain. We will miss his wise words, kind heart, funny stories and generous spirit.
