GRANADA - Linda G. Layman passed away Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013, at her home in Granada. There will be no services at this time.
Linda Gale (Bilderback) Layman was born Jan. 10, 1951, the daughter of Francis and Gladys (Ead) Bilderback. Linda grew up in Cottage Grove, Minn., where she also attended school.
Linda worked for the State of Minnesota and was with the activities department at the Luth-eran Retirement Home in Truman for several years. On April 24, 1999, she was united in marriage to William Layman in Granada, Minn. She also worked at Windings in Winnebago and was a skilled home crafter. Linda was an amazing and wonderful mother. Mostly her role in life was loving people and finding ways to make them happy. Her time working at the nursing home was her favorite because she could bring joy to the seniors. She also enjoyed needlework, knitting, crocheting, quilting and working with ceramics.
She is survived by her husband, William Layman of Granada, Minn.; daughter, Paula Pudewell and her husband, Jesse, of Madison, Wis.; many brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Erika Frances Pudewell; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
